Sakura Adachi's a first-year high school student who's basically checked out from school life—she skips class constantly, which has earned her a reputation as a delinquent, though the truth is simpler: she just can't stand being around people. Everything changed when Hougetsu Shimamura, another girl from her class, found her hiding out on the gym's second floor doing the exact same thing. From that moment on, Sakura became intensely attached to Hougetsu in a way she'd never experienced before, desperate to be closer to her than anyone else.
Before meeting Shimamura, Adachi had basically zero friends. She's the type who comes across as cold and distant, and she'd never really tried to change that or connect with anyone. That all-or-nothing attachment to Shimamura seems to be her first real relationship.
One notable quirk: she's extremely jealous whenever Shimamura hangs out with other friends, and she usually just bolts rather than deal with it.
