Atsuhiro Kagari comes across as a total jerk to his girlfriend Non at first, acting mean and dismissive toward her. But it's all an act—he actually cares about her way more than he lets on. Every now and then his softer side slips through, and when he calls her by her nickname Nontan, you can tell there's real affection there. His younger sister is Chihiro, and he's got a close friend in his classmate Masago Matsuo.
