Maron is an anime-only character who shows up during the Garlic Jr. saga as Krillin's girlfriend. She's pretty scatterbrained—constantly calling him "Kurin" instead of his actual name—and doesn't take much seriously. She's also got a big mouth, casually insulting Chi-Chi and Bulma by calling them old ladies, which obviously didn't go over well with either of them.
People constantly mix her up with Bulma since they share a similar look, but that's about where the similarities end. Maron's got a curvier build and bigger breasts, whereas Bulma is a core character throughout the whole series. Maron, on the other hand, basically only appears in her one saga and makes a brief cameo during the Cell arc.
Creator Akira Toriyama has said he didn't actually name Krillin's daughter after Maron, which clears up any confusion there. That said, both "Maron" and "Krillin" are puns on the word for chestnut in Japanese, so it's pretty likely the anime writers just independently came up with the same wordplay that Toriyama had already used.
