Shinobu's got a pretty serious case of chuunibyou—he's obsessed with ninjas and actually founded his own ninja association just to have a place to train by himself every day. He's got big ambitions, but he's also kind of simple-minded and easy to fool, plus he's naturally shy, so the combination makes for some awkward moments.
The school staff keeps a close watch on him because he's prone to accidentally setting small fires during training. He's genuinely athletic and loves hanging out in high places and attics, but he's not exactly book-smart, and most people agree he doesn't really tap into his actual potential. He pulls double duty as a member of the broadcasting committee and serves as RYUSEI Yellow in RYUSEITAI.
