Elias is basically the face of Elder Tale—he's literally on the box art as the "Hero of Elder Tale." In the game's lore, he was raised by fairies who taught him everything he knows about combat, and he's got divine backing from a deity called the Sword Prince.
His backstory carries real weight though. He's half-fairy, half-human, which makes him a Shunned Child—and that rejection clearly runs deep for him. There's something genuinely tragic about how his mixed heritage isolates him. The catch with his abilities is the <Fairy Eyes> curse: he can wound monsters and wear them down, but he can't actually deliver the killing blow himself. He can only drop them to a certain HP threshold and has to rely on someone else to finish them off. It's an interesting limitation that probably shapes how he fights and interacts with his party.
