Shigure is a wolf girl who's basically along for the ride with Genzou, hoping to strike it rich somehow. She's got a sharp eye for money—her scheme is to collect and resell the swords that other hunters drop after Genzou inevitably punches them for saying something offensive. Problem is, literally none of her business ventures work out, and she starts the story drowning in debt so bad she agrees to sell herself into slavery just to settle what she owes.
In the group dynamic, she's the responsible one who actually thinks things through, which puts her at odds with Genzou's "break first, apologize never" approach. She's also apparently the only person who cares about whether they can actually afford to eat, which becomes a real issue since Genzou has a habit of adopting random animals without considering whether the household budget can handle it. To her frustration, nobody else seems to worry about any of this.
