Yuu's a second-year at Nijigasaki High and has been Ayumu's childhood friend forever. When Kasumi starts trying to get the school idol club off the ground again, Yuu and Ayumu end up being her first recruits.
The thing is, Yuu isn't actually an idol herself—she's made it clear she'd rather be the club's cheerleader instead, which is pretty much exactly what she does.
