Ye Youming has a reputation for being distant and harsh—and frankly, he lives up to it. He's particularly brutal toward certain groups: he holds the Prime Minister Qian's family in obvious contempt (Yun Xi being the notable exception), and he shows outright disdain for the Western tribe, viewing them as inferior and a genuine threat. He doesn't hesitate to kill when he sees fit.
