She's a first-year at Sakuragokoro Girls' Academy who got thrust into a completely different life when her parents remarried. Her mom or dad ended up with someone from the Suzunomiya family—a major real estate dynasty—so overnight she went from regular kid to the daughter of actual rich people.
Now she's basically trying to rebrand herself as the perfect "Noble Maiden," which is apparently the title for the most aristocratic girl in school. To make that happen, she's ditched rock music and her guitar, which she actually loved, in favor of acting like a proper lady. It's a pretty significant shift from who she probably was before, though how well it's actually working is another story.
