Miyo Saimori is the eldest daughter of the Saimori family and should've had it all—her parents both possessed supernatural powers, so she inherited their bloodline. Instead, she got the short end of the stick. Her ability to see demons never manifested, which meant everyone wrote her off as "incompetent." Her mother died when she was young, and things only got worse from there. Her father, stepmother, and stepsister saw her as dead weight and treated her accordingly, neglecting and abusing her as a result.
