Code is a member of Kara and was created as a vessel for Isshiki Ōtsutsuki, though that plan ultimately failed. After Isshiki's final defeat, he passed his will on to Code, essentially setting him up to become the series' next major threat. Code's got the backing and legacy of one of the strongest beings in the Boruto universe, which is why fans expect him to be a serious problem going forward.
