A Fuso witch and Imperial Navy officer, Fumika is best known for her exceptional swordsmanship—she's basically mastered Kodoukan Kendo at an elite level. She was already a seasoned veteran before the Fuso Sea Incident hit, which meant she flew with one of the early striker unit designs that needed a supporting backpack to function properly.
What really stands out is her role as a mentor. She trained several future aces, most notably Mio Sakamoto, and also worked with Junko Takei and Tetsuko Wakamoto. During the Fuso Sea Incident, she led these witches into combat. Sakamoto in particular seems to have been shaped by Fumika's influence in a major way.
After her active service ended, she transitioned to working as an assistant kendo instructor at a dojo in Maizuru, where she presumably passed on her skills to the next generation in a different capacity.
