Vados serves as Champa's attendant and happens to be Whis's older sister.
She first appears alongside Champa as the two go about destroying planets across Universe 7, hunting for one in particular. After Goku takes down Freeza, they swing by to visit Whis, and Vados ends up watching a "food showdown" between Champa and Beerus. Champa gets hooked on Earth's instant ramen—so much so that when Vados has to break the news that Universe 6's version of Earth got completely wiped out by human warfare, it's clearly not what he wanted to hear. The solution, as Champa sees it, is to challenge Beerus to a 5-on-5 tournament where each universe picks their own fighters. The stakes? Universe 7's Earth becomes the prize.
