Majime started out working in sales for Genbu before Araki moved him over to the Dictionary Editorial Department—a transfer that basically defined his career. He's the bookish type who struggles to articulate his feelings, though he actively works on getting better at it. When Kaguya showed up at her grandmother's house, he fell for her immediately, but kept it bottled up for a while. Eventually he had to swallow his pride and ask Nishioka for advice on how to actually tell her how he felt.
