Ueda is basically glued to Shiratori whenever they're on screen. He'll deny it if you ask, but it's pretty obvious he's got it bad for them—he's constantly hovering nearby. The running joke is that he's become "Shiratori's dog," which he doesn't seem to mind; he's even leaned into it by saying stuff like "I belong to Shiratori" and "I only have eyes for Shiratori." Make of that what you will.
