He showed up during one of Kohina's Kokkuri-san rituals and basically decided to stick around. Over time he made himself at home in her house without much ceremony.
Inugami's got three main interests: booze, women, and gambling. Naturally, this lifestyle has left him perpetually broke—we're talking a million-year-long dry spell with zero motivation to actually find work. He's content just coasting.
Before moving in with Kohina, he lived with Kokkuri-san, where he was basically a constant headache. Their history runs deep enough that Inugami still loves messing with people, and Kohina's usually his favorite target for pranks and teasing.
