Yuki's basically defined by her love of baseball—she's the kind of fan who lives and breathes the sport, especially when it comes to her team, the Cats. She actually became an idol specifically to support them, which is pretty on-brand for how obsessed she is.
When the Producer first spots her in Starlight Stage, she's just leaving the stadium after catching a game. He's immediately drawn to her infectious energy and tries to recruit her. Yuki initially misunderstands and thinks he's asking her to be a cheerleader, but once she realizes what he's actually after, she casually mentions that people in the stands call her "the idol of the bleachers"—which honestly explains everything about her.
Rather than give him a straight answer, she basically drags him to a sports bar and batting center, tells him to officially ask her to be an idol once they're done, and hints that he might actually have a shot if he plays his cards right.
