A young male teacher and basketball club adviser at Takizono Private Academy, he's best known for his role in one of the series' most pivotal and horrific events: driving the bus that careened off a cliff during a club excursion.
After the crash, he attempted to find rescue but spent several days lost in the forest. When he finally returned, he was barely recognizable—delirious, unhinged, and fundamentally broken. Trapped with the other survivors and facing starvation, he became the first to cross an unthinkable line, cannibalizing the bodies of dead students. His descent into madness was complete when he abandoned all moral restraint, engaging in sexual encounters with some of the senior club members who were themselves spiraling under the same desperation and hunger.
What makes his character arc so dark is that he wasn't the only one pushed to cannibalism. Several senior members eventually followed suit, secretly consuming their dead classmates as the situation grew more dire. He became a symbol of how quickly humanity fractures under extreme survival conditions.
