Kento Rei Faun is the powerhouse of the Ronin Warriors—and probably the strongest of the bunch, even without his armor. He's stopped speeding trucks with his bare hands, which tells you everything you need to know. Like Ryo, he's got a short fuse and can be quick to anger, but underneath that hot temper is genuinely the biggest heart in the group. When it counts, he's loyal as they come.
His Hardrock armor is known for being the most violent of all their suits, fitting his personality. His virtue is Gi—Justice—and he fights with a sanketsukon, a hybrid weapon that's part three-section staff, part naginata. In close combat, he'll spin it like nunchakus. His signature move, Iron Rock Crusher, literally shakes the ground around him.
Kento comes from money. His parents run a successful restaurant business in Yokohama, and he's the oldest of five kids—two sisters (Rinfi and Chun Fa) and two brothers (Mei Ryu and Yun). But he doesn't make a big deal about being rich. He's tightest with Cye; they room together at Mia's place and have gone surfing together. The two basically complete each other.
In the third OVA, Message, Kento and the others got new armor, though exactly what it does remains a mystery.
