Everett is a character from the Kalos region who appeared in the episode "A League of His Own!" He's best known for being a determined trainer eager to test himself against Ash after spotting him on TV.
After catching Ash's interview with Malva during the Lumiose Conference coverage, Everett tracked him down to challenge him to a battle. When he found Ash, the trainer eagerly accepted—but Serena and Clemont had to step in and shut things down before the match could happen. They were worried Ash would miss the registration deadline if he got caught up in the fight.
