Yui Kasane
An antagonist from the light novel and anime series Record of the Night Window Demon. On the surface, she's just another sarcastic high school student—but that's the point. She's actually a psychotic murderer who gets off on messing with people's heads and doesn't care one bit about collateral damage.
Her ability, "Infinite Deception of Words," is genuinely unsettling. Basically, she can warp reality through lying and manipulation. The mechanics are weird but effective: she tells a lie, gets someone to reject it, and that contradiction creates a "lie of a lie"—which means the original false claim becomes real. It's a broken power in the hands of someone with her mindset.
Unlike the other major players in the series, she refuses to pick a side. She operates solo, which makes her unpredictable and arguably more dangerous than the organized factions around her.
