Ptolemy shows up as one of the Sanctuary's enforcers, basically doing whatever he's told without question. When Athena rolls in with the four Bronze Saints, he's already there waiting for them—though he's hiding who he really is at first. He starts out playing nice, giving them a heads-up about what's coming in the 12 temples ahead. But the moment they get close to the Aries temple, he drops the act and goes on the attack, unleashing a barrage of phantom arrows at them.
