Bazz-B is a Quincy and Stern Ritter with the designation "H"—The Heat. He's part of Yhwach's Vandenreich organization.
When Yhwach ordered the invasion of Soul Society, Bazz-B and the other Stern Ritter gathered at the Gate of the Sun before heading to Seireitei to conquer it. Once they arrived, they created pillars of blue flames that drew members of the 3rd Division toward him.
In the fighting that followed, Bazz-B went straight after Lieutenant Izuru Kira, hitting him hard enough to destroy a significant chunk of his right torso. The attack was serious enough that three seated officers nearby felt compelled to release their Shikai. He made short work of them—Taketsuna Gori, Asuka Katakura, and Riku Togakushi all fell to him without much trouble.
