Draculaura is the kind of vampire who makes optimism look easy—genuinely upbeat in a way that catches everyone off guard, monster or not. Her father Dracula raised her in that mansion looming over Normie Town, and while he could be strict, they had a real bond. He taught her to fly, and honestly, she credits a lot of her positive attitude to him.
The thing is, living alone with your dad for sixteen centuries gets old fast. Draculaura was desperate for friends her own age—or at least, friends who weren't centuries older or younger.
