Yukari
Yukari's the protagonist—a shy guy who's basically spineless, though he means well and genuinely understands people. He's a pushover, but in that earnest, well-intentioned way.
He fell hard for Misaki Takazaki after a pretty mundane moment: he lent her half his eraser, she smiled, and that was it. He was completely smitten.
Things get complicated fast, though. After finally confessing his feelings to Misaki, the government's mandatory marriage policy steps in and forces him into an engagement with Sanada Ririna instead. So much for his love life working out the way he planned.
