Liz was a knight from a kingdom hostile to Danafor who got caught sneaking in for a nighttime raid. Instead of execution, she was saved by Meliodas, the Holy Knights' leader at the time. She stuck around in Danafor after that and eventually became his lover. Most fans assume she died when Danafor was completely destroyed, though it's never explicitly confirmed what happened to her.
