Rikuu Togakushi holds the 3rd Seat in the 3rd Division under Captain Roujuurou Otoribashi.
He's best known for his role during the Vandenreich invasion, when he and Lieutenant Izuru Kira were stationed at the base of one of the massive blue flame pillars that appeared across Soul Society. After the Reishi Investigation Team spotted a Quincy hiding in the flames, Izuru gave the order to attack—only to get caught off guard and badly wounded before he could react. Rikuu called out how cheap the ambush was and rallied the other officers to draw their Shikai. He released his own in response, but the Quincy was faster, appearing behind him and cutting him down in a single strike. His reiatsu vanished completely after that, leaving the SRDI unable to track him.
