Makoto's known as the "pretty-boy idol" at 765 Production—she's got way more female fans than male ones because of it. Part of that comes from being genuinely popular at her all-girls school, and becoming an idol didn't exactly help tone that down. She doesn't mind the attention, but there's more going on beneath the surface. Despite her gruff, boyish persona, she's actually pretty sensitive, and she secretly wants to be more feminine. That's actually why she became an idol in the first place—without telling her father, she took the job hoping to find a way to show people she has a girly side too, and to discover that side in herself.
