Nathan Cackstone
Head boy of Stratford and a demon general commanding the 53rd pillar with thirty armies under his control. He's essentially a great president of Hell, though he's also a serious candidate to become substitute king—at least according to Beelzebub's nomination.
Cackstone is half-demon, born to a human mother, which has fueled persistent rumors that he's actually Lucifer's illegitimate son. Fans and scholars often note that his power reportedly exceeds that of the four kings, making him genuinely formidable in infernal hierarchies.
His human form appears as a young man wielding a sabre, but his true form is a thrush. One of his more useful abilities is translating the sounds of animals and birds for whoever summons him, plus he can interpret what water sounds are "saying"—useful if you're into that sort of thing.
He's been the object of Maria Mollins's affection, which has made for some interesting drama in various accounts.
