Pantherlily is an Exceed who serves as the First Division Commander of the Royal Army for Edoras's Magic Militia. He's best known for his grumpy attitude and intolerance for loud people—he makes a memorable first appearance by ordering Byro and the hyperactive Hughes to pipe down, though Sugarboy noted he was being even more irritable than usual that day.
Like all Exceed, Pantherlily can use Aera. In combat, he wields a massive sword and demonstrates considerable strength. He shares command duties with Akaoni and Majorina as one of the three commanders of Bad End Kingdom.
His appearance is distinctly feline—he's literally a panther, which explains the name. Fans often note his distinctive laugh, "Uruffufu," as one of his memorable quirks.
