Akagane is a youkai who serves as both umbrella holder and bodyguard to a god named Mibu. He travels alongside Asagi, driven by a single goal: to hear her play the koto again. At some point, he reaches out to Natsume for help in crafting the instrument, hoping to make that reunion possible.
