Hibari runs the Discipline Committee with an iron fist—literally just a group of delinquents who follow him around. He's violent, uses his authority to mess with other students, and honestly doesn't care much about his subordinates. Prefers being alone. If he's stuck in a crowd, he'll invent brutal "games" with lethal stakes just to pass the time.
His whole thing is his catchphrase "I'll bite you to death"—he genuinely says it to anyone he's about to fight. He also throws around "wao" casually, and loves calling weaker opponents "herbivores" to get under their skin. Food-wise, he's into Japanese cuisine and hamburgers.
Despite being kind of a monster, Hibari's got surprising depth. He's genuinely proud of his school—like, embarrassingly so. He's literally the only person who likes their school song, uses it as his ringtone, and even trained a bird he adopted to chirp it. The bird, which fans nicknamed Hibird, got so attached to him that it's still around nearly a decade later.
Reborn's picked up on both his attitude and fighting ability, seeing real potential for Tsuna's family. The problem is Hibari's solution to most problems is killing them or making them leave. Crowding bothers him almost as much as actual threats do.
