Koari Daikoku
Koari Daikoku is an anime-only character who never made it into the manga. She was supposed to be Ranma's fiancée after Genma—in one of his characteristically terrible decisions—traded young Ranma to her family in exchange for food. Of course, Genma being Genma, he later stole Ranma back, which kind of defeats the purpose of a betrothal.
Her name is pretty on-the-nose symbolically: "Kaori" means fragrance, and "Daikoku" refers to the god of wealth and trade. It's a fitting name given that her entire existence in the story hinges on Genma's absurd food-for-child trade deal—specifically, he'd given up Ranma for fish, rice, and two pickles. The irony of naming a character after the god of commerce and then having her involved in perhaps the dumbest transaction in the series isn't subtle, but it works.
