Poko is a mysterious kid who first showed up sleeping in a giant cauldron at the Tawara family's now-defunct udon restaurant. Souta Tawara found him there, and Poko panicked when he woke up—grabbing a bag of flour and bolting before Souta could say anything. But Souta won him over by making him udon when he was hungry, and that kindness stuck. These days Poko lives with Souta in the old family house in Kagawa.
