The Electric Company is a wind turbine facility located between Ecruteak City and Olivine City. In the episode "Current Events," their security system becomes a major plot point when Team Rocket's break-in damages the electric lock, trapping Ash inside. Brock calls to alert them, and the head of security—the only company rep we meet—arrives to repair the lock and help search for him.
The real action kicks off when Ash's Chikorita evolves into Bayleef right outside the plant. Working together with the facility's resident Electabuzz, Bayleef sends Team Rocket packing. The head of security thanks Ash for the assist, but her moment of gratitude gets cut short when Jigglypuff shows up and puts everyone to sleep with its song, then draws all over their faces—including hers and her Electabuzz's—out of pure spite.
