The Arvol ns traditionally served as the "Royal Scepter"—essentially the crown's primary magical researchers and advisors. That all fell apart during her childhood when her father lost a power struggle at court, resulting in the family's exile from the capital and the loss of everything that came with their former status.
Growing up in relative isolation near Mezas, Yihdra threw herself into magic study. Her main drive has always been straightforward: restore what her family lost. She's spent years honing her arcane knowledge, clearly viewing it as the path back to relevance and respect.
