Ahid
Title: Cardinal of Jiordal, Oracle of the Selected Eight
Appearance: Tall with an average build. Green eyes, black fingernails, and distinctly Draconid ears. His long green hair has white tips and falls across the right side of his face.
Ahid is deeply devoted to Equis, the Almighty Radiance, and his entire worldview flows from that faith. He sees the gods as perfect, all-powerful beings whose purpose is to guide humanity toward salvation—everything, in his view, ultimately traces back to Equis's influence. Even when humans achieve great things, like Hero Kanon saving humanity, Ahid understands it through a divine lens; Kanon's power came through Evansamana, which was blessed by the gods, and therefore by Equis.
His faith is unwavering enough that the idea of anyone—even Anos—surpassing the gods strikes him as fundamentally incomprehensible. To Ahid, that's simply not how the world works.
