She's best known for being anxious and easily spooked. Bell constantly worries about whether she's actually capable of leading her unit properly, and she's terrified of becoming a laughingstock in front of the current Commander. Oddly, she refers to herself exclusively in the third person, which takes some getting used to.
Her past shaped a lot of who she is today. Bell's parents largely ignored her growing up, and school was rough—she got bullied regularly. As a kid, she'd slip away to a shrine whenever she could and pray for a strong Peach ability. Eventually, her prayers were answered. When her power manifested, Tobera Azuma (the commander at that time) noticed and recruited her into the Anti-Demon Corps. For the first time, Bell actually felt valued and respected by people around her.
That didn't last long, though. Once she met the other unit chiefs, the reality hit hard: her ability was nowhere near as impressive as theirs. Her confidence tanked right back to where it started. Still, Bell genuinely wants to stay with the Corps and get to know everyone there, even if she's constantly second-guessing herself.
