He runs the Second Development Section where Shiori and Shinozaki work under him. Pretty observant—he picked up on the chemistry between those two pretty early on. Rather than make things awkward, he's the type to quietly encourage them to spend time together, which his subordinates probably don't even realize he's doing.
The guy's got an active imagination, though. He's known for getting caught up in these grand narratives he creates in his head, sometimes to the point where he's practically daydreaming about going out in some noble blaze of glory. It doesn't always translate to real life, but it makes him oddly endearing.
