Gekka is the male calico cat that Ryuusei is looking for. While not related by blood, they grew up together and considered each other brothers, with the older Gekka looking after Ryuusei. One day, after fighting with Ryuusei, tearing his left ear and knocking him unconscious, Gekka left town.
