Junko Miyaji teaches Naota's class, though "teaches" might be generous—she's basically a kid stuck in an adult body. She's got this frenetic energy that's exhausting just to watch, overreacting to basically everything that happens in class and yelling at her students through a homemade megaphone like she's directing traffic. What really defines her presence in the series, though, is how often she ends up in the wrong place at the wrong time. The Medical Mechanica robots that keep bursting out of Naota's head have destroyed her car not once but twice—first Canti takes it out, then the Terminal Core finishes the job.
