Shamhat
Shamhat held an important place in Gilgamesh's life, though her story is fragmented and contested by different accounts.
According to Dantalion's version of events, she was a sex worker who introduced Gilgamesh to his closest companion—though her motives weren't entirely pure. She allegedly got him drunk as part of some scheme to take him down. Despite this betrayal, Gilgamesh forgave her.
Her later fate remains unclear. The last confirmed sighting of her places her alongside both Gilgamesh and Enkidu during one of the early skirmishes between Heaven and Hell, specifically around the time Gilgamesh made his controversial switch to Hell's side. What became of her after that point is lost to history.
