Lia Venegas is a Chilean-American member of the Awesome Ones in Bakugan Battle Planet. She's best known for being the group's director and primary videographer—basically the creative force behind their ViewTube channel. Her main Bakugan partners are Gorthion, Pegatrix, and Cubbo.
She actually joined the crew by accident. When Dan and Wynton were struggling to nail a stunt video, Lia happened to walk by and casually offered some directing notes that completely turned the whole thing around. They were so impressed they immediately asked if she'd ever thought about directing professionally. She's been "the Director" ever since, and the two became fast friends.
Lia's defining trait is her limitless energy and confidence. She's artistic and expressive, constantly pushing people around her to be their best selves and find talents they didn't know they had. She genuinely wants everyone in the shot—she's that kind of person. But there's a steel edge to her too. She's spent her whole life dealing with people who tried to give her grief for being different, and she's never been the type to let anyone walk over her twice. She doesn't tolerate haters and will absolutely stand her ground in a conflict, sometimes even when she probably shouldn't. Like the rest of the Awesome Ones, she trusts her gut and figures that's the key to living happily.
The Awesome Ones are based in Los Volmos and became Bakugan battlers after the second Great Collision occurred while they were filming in a crater at Pinpoint Park. That's when Lia first met and bonded with Gorthion.
