Anna Haruna is one of Yoshida's two closest friends, first appearing unnamed back in Chapter 79. She doesn't really get Yoshida's obsession with cute and childish stuff, but she's generally chill about it—more importantly, she acts as a peacemaker whenever Yoshida and their mutual friend Reina clash. She's come to genuinely accept Tomoko as part of their friend group.
Anna starts out unnamed and only gets properly introduced to Tomoko in Chapter 142, when she reveals her first name. She's pretty direct and blunt—she'll call Yoshida a moron without hesitation, and she didn't hold back asking Tomoko and Futaki if they were being stupid for blowing off midterm studying. That said, she's not mean-spirited about it and actually seems to enjoy hanging out with them. When she noticed Futaki sitting alone, she straight-up invited her to join their group.
She's got a boyfriend named Kento (who doesn't appear in the series), and according to her, he's kind of needy—like, he gets upset if she doesn't spend time with him every single day. Her surname gets revealed later in Chapter 147 when Tomoko mentions it to Yoshida.
One thing fans might notice is that Anna seems genuinely impressed by how many friends Tomoko and Masaki have managed to make. She considers their social growth "good."
