Kanade Yoisaki is a third-year student and the leader of Nightcord at 25:00. She founded the band by recruiting members online and serves as the group's main songwriter. Because she's genuinely photophobic, she attends classes entirely online, only showing up for important events or to take exams in person. She's also pretty uncoordinated athletically and tires easily.
Since childhood, she's been obsessed with composing music to make people happy—her work even landed in TV commercials at one point. But she carries trauma from an incident where her own music accidentally caused real pain to someone close to her, something that still weighs on her. Her mother passed away when she was young, and her father is currently hospitalized, struggling with severe depression from isolation and burnout. She visits him regularly.
