Kat (originally Queen Alua) is the main character of the Gravity Rush series. She starts the games as an amnesiac girl wandering Hekseville with no idea who she is, but she quickly discovers she's a shifter—someone with gravity-defying powers—and basically falls into the role of the city's de facto superhero. Over the course of the first game and its sequel, her adventures gradually pull back the curtain on her mysterious past, eventually revealing connections that stretch far beyond Hekseville itself.
The English version of the games calls her Kat, while the original Japanese name is Kitten.
