Shin's a high school kid dealing with some heavy stuff—his dad just died, so he's moved in with his uncle Tetsuya. Things get weird fast when he runs into Jin, who claims to be him from a parallel universe. Jin's got a mission: kill Kotori. Sounds brutal, but there's logic to it (in a dark way). See, in Jin's world, there's this tyrannical version of Kotori called Princess Kotoko who runs things with an iron fist. Jin figures eliminating Kotori in Shin's world will somehow break her power in his own.
