Yaya is Raishin's puppet, designed to look like a raven-haired teenage girl—though she's way more lifelike than your typical puppet. Her personality is basically human too, which is kind of her whole thing. She's obsessed with Raishin, constantly teasing him in ways that make everyone around them assume he's a total creep. She's pretty open about wanting to become a real girl so she can marry him, and she gets jealous whenever he so much as talks to another girl.
She has two sister puppets: Irori, the older one, and Komurasaki, the younger.
