Almaria
Almaria is a vampire from the black world with the ability to manipulate blood—a rare and useful skill that sets her apart from most of her kind. She's fundamentally a caring and graceful person, which makes her condition all the more awkward for her. The core tension in her character comes from that clash: she's genuinely kind-hearted, but her vampiric need to feed is a constant source of embarrassment and internal conflict. She struggles with what she has to do to survive, and that struggle is very real to her.
