Aliases: Peter Rasputin, Colossus
Piotr grew up on the Ust-Ordynski Collective, a Soviet farm near Lake Baikal in Siberia. He came from a tight-knit family—his older brother Mikhail became a famous cosmonaut, and he had a younger sister, Illyana. When he wasn't helping out around the farm, Piotr spent his time drawing and painting; he was genuinely talented as an artist.
His mutant powers kicked in during his teenage years, and at first he just used them to help out around the collective, keeping things simple and low-key. It wasn't until later that his abilities would catch the attention of the wider world and eventually lead him away from his quiet life in Siberia.
